A tornado was spotted near Castle Rock and several funnel clouds have been reported around the area.

Authorities say an explosion touched off a fire in a home in Elbert County . The explosion happened at about 6:00 Friday morning in the town of Elizabeth, about 30 miles southeast of Denver.
